In the area of evangelism, I am thrilled to share with you the incredible success we’ve recorded in our evangelistic efforts in the first quarter of 2024.
Throughout this period, we have embarked on a series of impactful evangelism programs across the Union. These evangelism activities not only strengthened the bonds of fellowship among our congregations but have also provided fertile ground for the sharing of God’s word and the proclamation of His love.
I am delighted to report that our collective efforts have yielded remarkable results, with a total of 1002 souls that were baptized at the end of first quarter.
As we reflect on these achievements, let us continue to press forward in our mission to spread the message of salvation to every corner of our Union. May we be inspired by the example of Jesus Christ, who came not to be served but to serve, and may His love compel us to reach out with compassion and grace to those in need of hope and redemption.

The Lagos Evangelism Summit: Mission to the City of Lagos
On April 28th, 2024, at 10 am, an event is set to unfold as the Western Nigeria Union Conference, in collaboration with the West-Central Africa Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, organizes the Lagos Evangelism Summit. Held at the esteemed Maryland Church, located at 542 Ikorodu Road, Maryland, Ikeja, Lagos State, this summit marks a significant mission to the vibrant city of Lagos.

From March 28th to April 1st, 2024, a spirit of unity and fellowship is set to sweep across three different states as the Nigeria Association of Adventist Students (NAAS) organizes a Zonal Convention under the auspices of the Western Nigeria Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This upcoming convention aims to bring together Adventist students from diverse backgrounds to celebrate their faith, share experiences, and strengthen their commitment to serving their communities.
The Zonal Convention organized by NAAS under the Western Nigeria Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is anticipated to be a resounding success, bringing together Adventist students to celebrate their faith, learn from each other, and make a positive impact on society. Greeting in the name of Christ, our Lord and Savior. We give thanks and praises to our God Almighty who by His love gives us the grace to see another year of Pulpit Exchange, may His name be praise forever. Our theme for this year is CHOSEN FOR MISSION we have been choosen by God to Go and preach the gospel to all the world and bring souls for the Master. I pray that God will use all of us for His glory in this year pulpit exchange in Jesus name. As we all know that our annual pulpit exchange program is fast approaching, and by the grace of God, it will come in three phases this year. The dates are as follows: first phase -February 11th-24th, the conferences concern is Kogi. The second phase is March 2nd-16th, the conferences concern are LAC, LMC, Osun, Edo, Delta, Ekiti and Ogun. The last phase is April 6th-20th, the conferences concern are Kwara, Oyo, Ondo and WAD support program. I want to encourage you to start preparing for your time of evangelism Program. Let me remind you that it is Total Member Involvement and our goal for each center is a minimum of (25) souls. Don’t forget that our goal for this year is 15,000 souls, and this pulpit exchange evangelism is one of the major ways by which we can realize our goal. 1. That Wednesday 7th, 28th of February, and 28th of March, 2024 have been set apart as days of fasting and prayer across the union territory for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and abundant harvest of Souls.
2. That Wednesday 7th of February 2024 is slated for Zoom meeting with all pastors that will be going out and those who will be hosting pastors
3. That each conference should make internal posting arrangement for pastors not covered in the list.

Edo Conference Evangelism will hold in Benin City Oct 7 to 14. The Preacher is Ibhiedu. A.O. Evangelism will also hold at the same conference and the same City From Sep 10-1. The Preacher is Adeleye E.A.
Ekiti Conference Evangelism was held in Otun(ACHS) July 2 to 8 and Ado(EKSU) July 21 to 25. The Preachers were Alabi J.A and Adeleye E.A respectively. Evangelism will also hold at the same conference at Ipoti from Sep 17 to Oct 1. The Preacher will be Alabi J.A.
Kogi Region Evangelism will hold in the City of Isanlu Oct 8 to 22. The Preacher will be Alabi J.A. Evangelism will also hold in the same region at Ayingba City Aug 26 to Sep 2. The Preacher will be Alabi J.A.
Kwara Conference Evangelism will hold in Ilorin July 16 to 29. The Preacher is Obebe O.E. Evangelism will also hold at the same conference at Sao from Oct 15 to 29 and (Ahun) Oro-Ago Nov 4 to 18. The Preachers will be Bambi M.A and Oyinloye E.A respectively.
