Edo Conference Concludes its Constituency Session
Edo Conference in Western Nigeria Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church has successfully concluded its 4th Constituency Session, which took place from September 11 to 14, 2024, at the Edo Conference Headquarters, located at 174 Old Benin Agbor Road, Benin City.
Themed “Chosen for Mission: I Will Go”, the session gathered church delegates and members to reflect on the church’s mission and elect new leadership for this new term. The focus was on empowering the church to actively engage in its mission and outreach.
Newly elected officers for the next term include:
- President: Pastor Umoru O. Julius.
- Secretary: Pastor Amagbaekhen Innocent.
- Treasurer: Elder Ilenowa U. Moses.
The election marks a new chapter in the leadership of Edo Conference as it continues to expand its ministry and evangelism efforts. The newly elected leaders expressed their commitment to lead with integrity and serve the church’s mission of spreading the gospel and fostering spiritual growth in the region.
The session was concluded with prayers for the new leadership and a renewed dedication to the church’s mission. “I Will Go.”
