The Western Nigeria Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is calling on elders across its territory to participate in Elders’ Evangelism throughout November 2026, under the theme “All Things New.”
As part of OneVoice27, the initiative places local church elders at the forefront of mission, with a clear focus: “Every Elder Evangelising through Small Group in their Local Church.” It is a call for elders to turn their spiritual leadership into active outreach, helping people encounter Jesus through personal relationships, Bible study and fellowship.
Small groups offer opportunities to listen, pray together, study God’s Word and share the hope of the gospel. Through these gatherings, elders can work with church members to welcome friends, neighbours and families into a caring community of faith.
The study booklet for Elders’ Evangelism is Christ Our Savior by Pastor Onaolapo Ajibade, for use during small group Bible studies throughout the outreach.
With November approaching, elders are encouraged to begin preparations in collaboration with their pastors and local churches. The call to “Prepare. Pray. Plan. Proclaim.” provides a practical starting point: prepare for the work, pray for those to be reached, plan small group activities and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
Church members are also encouraged to support their elders through prayer, participation and inviting others to join. The vision is shared responsibility for mission, with every local church contributing to the wider OneVoice27 effort.
Under the theme “All Things New,” this November presents an opportunity to share Christ’s promise of renewal and invite others to experience the hope found in Him.
Every Elder. Every Church. One Mission.
